Amsterdam, 20 January 2025 – Spliethoff is pleased to announce that Mike Herrebrugh has joined the combined Spliethoff-BigLift London office as of 1 January 2025, further strengthening the company’s presence in the United Kingdom.
Mike Herrebrugh brings extensive experience and deep understanding of the shipping market. Having been with the Spliethoff Group for many years, he is a respected and familiar name in the industry. Mike began his career in the 1990’s as Maritime Officer on the Spliethoff fleet vessels and held various positions in Spliethoff’s Amsterdam head office before he established the Sevenstar Yacht Transport UK office.
Jon Gliddon, who has been the company’s representative from the London office for many years, will continue to support customers with a focus on BigLift Shipping’s specialized projects.
Together, Mike and Jon will offer comprehensive support and customized transport solutions, ensuring that clients in the UK and Ireland benefit from the full range of services provided by the Spliethoff Group.
